Welcome to Global Sounds Music Academy. By enrolling in our Guitar or Keyboard classes, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
1. Enrollment & Fees
✅ Registration:
Enrollment requires submission of complete student/parent details, including name, contact information, and address.
✅ Trial Class:
The first session (₹500 fee) is non-refundable, but the amount will be adjusted toward the full enrollment fee if the student continues.
✅ Tuition Fees:
Fees are payable monthly or quarterly via cash or online payment.
A late payment fee of ₹20 per day will apply after 7 days of delay without a valid reason.
2. Class Policies
⏰ Scheduling
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling any class.
- Missed classes without 24 hours’ notice will be considered forfeited and will not be compensated.
- Individual missed group class can not be covered.
🏠 Home Tuition / Online Tuition
- Each session will be approximately 50 minutes in duration.
- Teacher’s travel time from society entry is included within the session duration, limited to a maximum of 10 minutes.
(Example: a 50-minute session = 40 minutes teaching + 10 minutes transit time.) - The academy reserves the right to substitute instructors if required.
🎵 Group Classes
- Each group session will be approximately 50 minutes long.
- Individual missed classes cannot be rescheduled or covered separately.
- Occasional extra group sessions may be arranged for collective revision or practice quarterly.
- If a class is cancelled by the teacher, it will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time agreed upon by all group members.
🎹 Materials
Students are required to bring their own instrument (guitar or keyboard) for each session.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
🔙 Student Cancellations:
Fees are non-refundable once paid.
🔄 Teacher Cancellations:
If a class is cancelled by the teacher, it will be rescheduled.
✋ Discontinuation:
A 7-day written notice is required to pause or discontinue classes.
4. Student Responsibilities
🎯 Practice:
A minimum of 1 hour of practice per week is recommended for consistent progress.
⚠️ Health & Safety:
Students must inform the instructor of any physical limitations (e.g., wrist or finger pain) prior to lessons.
⏱ Punctuality:
Students are expected to attend sessions on time. Delays will not extend class duration.
5. Intellectual Property & Media
📜 Lesson Materials:
All lesson materials (sheet music, notes, exercises, etc.) are for personal learning use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed.
📷 Media & Promotions:
Photos or videos of students’ performances may be used for marketing or promotional purposes, unless the student/parent opts out in writing.
6. Liability
🚑 Injury & Property:
Global Sounds Music Academy shall not be held liable for:
- Any injury sustained during home practice or outside class hours.
- Any damage to instruments or property during classes, whether at the academy or at the student’s home.
7. Privacy
🔒 All student data and personal information are protected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to Terms
🔄 These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9.Exams
🔄 The Academy arranges examinations in association with various recognized examination bodies, including Trinity College London, ABRSM, LCM, Prayag Sangeet Samiti, and Prachin Kala Kendra. All examination fees collected by the Academy are paid directly to the respective examination bodies. Therefore, once the examination fee has been paid and submitted, it is strictly non-refundable, irrespective of cancellation, absence, withdrawal, or any other reason.
